Grant Acquisition and Proposal Enhancement for Social Impact

The Valid Dreams Foundation is seeking innovative solutions to overcome funding challenges while addressing societal issues, newcomer support, and social justice causes. This project invites students to collaborate in identifying and completing grant applications that align with the foundation's mission. Students will begin by familiarizing themselves with the organization’s vision and a specific community project. They will then develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for funding. The project involves identifying potential sponsors and funding opportunities that align with the foundation's goals. Additionally, students will work on enhancing the clarity and persuasiveness of the foundation's grant proposals. As a bonus, students may also explore new opportunities for community projects.
