The goal of this project is to support Quadromed’s entry into the U.S. market by helping define and validate key customer segments within cardiac diagnostics. The student will research specific healthcare provider categories, conduct competitive benchmarking, and build an initial outreach list using guided criteria. This focused approach will allow the student to gain experience in health market research, outreach strategy, and lead qualification.

Deliverables

What are students expected to complete?

Students are expected to:

- Conduct a focused segmentation analysis to identify and profile 2–3 U.S. healthcare provider segments (e.g., outpatient cardiology clinics, independent diagnostics providers)

- Research and summarize demographic, operational, and regulatory characteristics for these segments

- Develop a competitive landscape brief that profiles 3–5 companies serving similar markets

- Identify and summarize differences in service offerings, pricing models, and value propositions

- Present findings in a final report, including key insights and strategic considerations for market entry


Quadromed is a Montreal-based importer and distributor of innovative medical devices and digital healthcare platforms. We are expanding into the U.S. market with key technologies in cardiac diagnostics and AI-enhanced health data analysis.

This role will help identify the market potential of clinical clients in the U.S. for:

- XXX (brand name ECG Device): a wearable Holter ECG monitor with cloud-based scanning service

- XXX (brand name ECG platform): an advanced ECG and cardiology workflow platform

- XXX (brand name ECG Device) AI powered ECG too: AI-powered diagnostic data enhancement tools


Quadromed is a Montreal-based medical device importer and distributor specializing in digital health platforms. We are entering the U.S. market with advanced solutions in cardiac diagnostics, including wearable ECG monitoring and AI-based data interpretation. This project will contribute foundational insights into how we approach commercial expansion in a new healthcare landscape.

Qualifications

- Enrolled in Health Systems, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, or Business program

- Strong research and analytical skills

- Interest in healthcare innovation and U.S. clinical practice models

- Ability to synthesize and clearly present research findings

- No prior CRM or outreach experience required
